Response to Tsunami Crisis

UN estimates 150K dead

Rescuers are racing against time to get food and water to millions of tsunami survivors, struggling to clear runways
and fly aid into areas where huge waves washed away roads as well as people, according to

Reuters International. In response
to the crisis, several humanitarian organizations have increased efforts to bring relief to stricken areas.

The United Nations warned that the toll of about 150,000 known dead would rise as more bodies were found and survivors
fell sick. In Indonesia's worst-hit Aceh province, infectious illnesses were already rife. You can make a difference
